Dallas, Texas

Brad and I slept in a bit this morning before driving to DFW to pick up my favorite Maryland-dweller ever! Amanda is in Texas! It was pretty rainy by the time we picked her up, so we headed over to Cafe Brazil in Deep Ellum to enjoy some breakfasty goodness before going to the State Fair. After the rain died down a bit, we headed over to Fair Park where we rode the Ferris Wheel, ate lots of fried goodies (snickers, oreos, pumpkin pie, and s’mores), and wandered until we were tired of avoiding all the puddles.

We then drove Amandapants to her parents place in Benbrook and chilled out for a while. YAY! So glad she’s visiting!
